About NPC Sri Lanka

The National Paralympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NPCSL) is a registered sports body under the Ministry of Sports that provides comprehensive services related to the development of sports for persons with a disability. Its core work is sports development, promotions, and representations at national and International levels.
NPCSL was originated and known as the National Federation of Sports for the Disabled (NFSD) formed in 1994 was registered under the Ministry of Sports and recognized as the sports body responsible for sports for persons with a disability since 1996. Subsequently as National Paralympic Committee of Sri Lanka (NPCSL).
NPCSL is an affiliated member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and the sole representative of Sri Lanka at Paralympic sports events.
